Day +308

I know it has been several days and I know there are so many people who have been worried about Jessica. Right now there are no definite answers to Jessica's current health situation. There are many doctors working together to try and figure out what is best for her at this time. There is a meeting set for tomorrow afternoon with all of her docs and a more definite plan will be made at that time. I will try to keep all of Jessica's dedicated followers updated, but please understand so many things are up in the air right now. Thank you for the love and support.

Urgent Prayer Requests

February 9, 2010

^^Ethan^^
“Ethan earned his beautiful wings, he passed this morning at 6:50am...it was just him and I, he called for his momma, I felt his last breath and he was free...”

^^Santiago^^
“Santiago went with Jesus at around 3:00 am while sleeping in his mother’s arms.” English is at the bottom of the page.

Taylor
“She is six years old and in Children's hospital.  Taylor was having migraines and a MRI showed a mass in her brain.  This sweet child is having surgery on Tuesday.”  Taylor’s cousin, Kayla died from cancer several months ago.

Erik
“Erik had a great day in spite of fighting harder to breathe, and coughing a bit more. We have to reposition him often because of the bedsores. He is more out of breath when he talks.”

RachelJoy
“RachelJoy is a very sick girl.  She spiked a fever, became very sleepy, dropped her O2sats, and had a small seizure.”

Bo
“We have ordered an X-ray...Bo's stomach is swollen and hard around the G-tube site.”

Bekah
“This will be her second EUA (Exam Under Anesthesia). During her EUA they will determine if she will have a second Intra-arterial chemotherapy treatment.”

Paul
“he is really congested. He sounds like he might have some fluid on his lungs...just struggling with breathing and keeps coughing a lot. He also seems to have a lot of drainage.”

Ethan A.
“I don't think that I have ever seen Ethan is so much pain today…”

Danny
“So what they are going to do , and it will probably be scheduled for tomorrow is remove the Hickman, and place a PICC line until the staph is gone, then they will replace the Hickman line.”

Jessica
“I have been in the ER! This week I have scans (for my lung spots), a pain appointment, and a GI appointment. The scans are sort of a big deal. My pain appointment is really the big thing of the week.”

Nolan
“The bad news is his white blood count continues to drop.  It was 1.4 and his anc is 880.”

Katelyn
“Katelyn is having some struggles, I ask for some prayer…”

Krymson

“The last week has been hard on Krymson... she has just not been feeling well at all.”

Jenna
“Jenna's had two episodes of almost a hot flash attack.  She becomes overcome with sweat and seems frantic and as I get her cooled down and change her clothes, she becomes almost confused and stumbles as well as falls right asleep exhausted.”

Jakki

“Jakki has been battling the nausea bug still. She has had a low energy today and feels very exhausted.”

Ethan

“Tuesday will bring another donor lymphocyte infusion as long as there are no high fevers.
Please pray for no GVH in the upcoming weeks for Ethan as this is a huge risk every time we do this infusion.”

Vinny
“We heard yesterday that Vinny's next Chest X-ray / Scans are on February 9th, also the day we start our Round 4 of Chemo.”

 Bayleigh

Bayleigh's MRI is on Tuesday, the 9th (4:00 p.m.)”

Welcome

It is with great joy that we have taken this small step in honoring Cole's legacy.  We want to "pay it forward" and help other families who are struggling through their child's illness.  We pray that this site will be one of encouragement and hope.   If it is upon your heart to join the fight and help pay it forward, we ask that you join our prayer team!  Help us to encourage and support these hurting families, and you will be blessed in return!   Thank you for taking the time to visit and God Bless You!

We are honored to have a story featured in the February 10, 2009 edition of
Woman's Day magazine that tells the story of Cole's fight with cancer, and
how COLE's Foundation began.  To view an online version of the article,
